Adjustments of Tour Schedules

Bespoke Tours Dunedin will strive to deliver the tour as described on our website or as agreed upon via email correspondence. However, we maintain the right to offer alternative destinations or activities if circumstances beyond our control arise.

Your tour schedule will be adhered to as closely as feasible; however, factors such as adverse weather, road conditions, or the availability of attractions may necessitate adjustments. In such instances, alternative destinations and activities of similar nature will be provided.

If circumstances under our control prevent us from conducting your tour (excluding acts of nature), you will receive a partial or full refund (as per refunds policy) depending on whether the tour has commenced or not.

Refunds Policy

Refunds for credit card transactions will be issued in New Zealand dollars for the original amount. Please note that currency conversions and associated fees, which are beyond Bespoke Tours Dunedin’s control, may apply. Refunds will be processed back to the credit card used for the initial purchase, subject to management discretion.

Cancellation/Reschedule of Vessel

If your vessel cancels or alters its arrival date, and we cannot accommodate your tour as a result, you will receive a refund of the tour cost minus any incurred expenses (typically credit card transaction fees). If your vessel reschedules its arrival and we can arrange the tour accordingly, there will be no extra charges. If the tour cannot be rescheduled for the new date, a refund will be offered according to our Cancellation of Vessel and Refunds policies.

Confirmation of Tour

Your booking will only be confirmed once the full payment has been received by Bespoke Tours Dunedin.

Cancellation Policy

• 60 days plus, prior to the tour departure date, 90% of the tour price is refundable.
• 31-59 days prior to the tour departure date, 75% of the tour price is refundable.
• 10-30 days prior to the tour departure date, 50% of the tour price is refundable.
• Less than 10 days prior to the tour departure date, no refund is made.
• If you fail to appear at the scheduled meeting place and time, or if you choose not to participate in the tour on the day, you will forfeit all fees paid for the tour.

Indemnity

As a participant on our tour, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bespoke Tours Dunedin, its agents, employees, and affiliates from any liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of your participation, except in cases of negligence or wilful misconduct by Bespoke Tours Dunedin.

Liability

By participating in our tour, you acknowledge that Bespoke Tours Dunedin assumes no liability for personal injuries, accidents, delays, losses, or damages to property. Participants join the tour at their own risk and are responsible for their own health, safety, and belongings throughout the duration of the tour.

Vehicles

Our vehicle possesses an up-to-date Certificates of Fitness, and is comprehensively insured. It will be operated exclusively by a duly licensed driver. Passengers are responsible for using seat belts where provided.

Bespoke Tours Dunedin does not currently have wheelchair access vehicles and we request to be notified in advance when a booking is made if any of the persons have mobility or health issues that may limit their ability to participate on the tour.

Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in all our tour vehicles.

Return to Port

Our tours are scheduled to ensure timely return to the ship. If for any reason you are unable to reboard before the ship departs, Bespoke Tours Dunedin will assist in organising transfers to the next port of call. However, we are not responsible for any associated costs. Travel insurance covering such situations is recommended.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
 

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
 

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
 

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
